Dragon Age:Cauthrien and Anora

Every now and again I say this about something I draw, then look back at it a few weeks or months later, and wonder what I was thinking, but what the hell: I actually quite like this

So, along with Isolde, I think it's safe to say that Ser Cauthrien and Anora are the most hated women in Origins. But whatever else you can say about them, I think they are both genuinely motivated by what they think is best for Ferelden. Cauthrien particularly is quite willing to die for Loghain when she thinks he's Ferelden's best chance; but as soon as she realises he's wrong, she'll bow out with clear regret that she ever sided with him. I also like that while both of them are very beautiful and very powerful, they didn't use their beauty to achieve their power; both are common-born and gained their current status through intelligence, skill, and in Anora's case, slight psychopathy
